Gallery Castle Cast Iron Fire Basket, Black

Made from solid cast iron, the Gallery Castle fire basket has a traditional design ideal for period interiors. This freestanding fire basket sits safely on a fireplace hearth and is suitable for decorative, solid fuel and gas fires that require a Class 1 flue.

The Gallery Castle fire basket is available in a Matt Black finish with brass detailing on the finials and ash pan drawer knob. It features a large, shaped backplate featuring a scroll motif and detailed edging for decoration.

The decorative fuel option does not include a fire grate and is just for ornamental use only. The solid fuel kit consists of a solid fuel grate and ash pan to allow you to burn wood and coal. There is also a dedicated coal effect gas fire option with a 10.9kW input so requires additional ventilation in the room. The gas fire has manual controls with flame height adjustment from the bottom of the basket behind the removable cover.
